Hunting is a common passion for me and my two biker buddies, Teresa Middleton and Victor Wallace. We like to spend our weekends or holidays riding our motorcycles to various parts of Australia, looking for places to hunt. Last week, we decided to go to Barcaldine, a small town in central Queensland that is rich in wildlife and has a long history and culture. We expected to spend three days and two nights there, enjoying the hunting and the local cuisine. Since it involves hunting at night, we have to prepare some night vision equipment to observe and target animals in the dark. After some comparison and selection, we finally decided to buy WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars, which is a very cost-effective Chinese brand product with many amazing features and advantages. In this article, I will share with you our hunting trip and the amazing performance of the WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars.

These features and advantages make the WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars a must-have for our hunting trips, and it has brought us a lot of surprises and gains. Next, I will share our hunting process and experience with you.

On our first day in Barcaldine, we arrived at our reserved hotel around 4pm, packed up briefly, and set off on our motorcycles to find a suitable hunting spot. We drove about half an hour northwest along a small road to an open grassland with abundant wildlife such as kangaroos, wild boar, deer, rabbits, etc. We found a secluded spot at the edge of the grassland, stopped our motorcycles, took out our guns and night vision equipment, and prepared to start hunting.

Since it wasn’t quite dark yet, we first used the WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars in daytime mode, a mode that allows us to see images and video in color instead of black and white. We used the WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars for a while to observe the animals in the grassland and spotted some kangaroos and wild boars moving around in the distance. We decided to target a kangaroo first, as they were easier to hit and tastier to eat. We pointed the WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars at a kangaroo, then aimed the gun sight at its head and gently pulled the trigger. After a single shot, the kangaroo fell to the ground with no struggle. We happily ran over and dragged the kangaroo back to our motorcycle, then continued to observe the other animals.

As darkness fell, we switched to the night mode of the WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars, a mode that allows us to see clear images and video in the dark. We spotted some wild boars feeding in the grassland, they are harder to hit and more dangerous than kangaroos. We decided to challenge ourselves and try to hit a wild boar. We used WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars to observe the routes and habits of the wild boars for a while and then selected one of the larger boars as our target. We approached them quietly, keeping enough distance and safety. We pointed our WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars at the large boar, then aimed our firearm sights at its heart position and steadily pulled the trigger. After a gunshot, the big boar screamed miserably, charged forward a few steps, and then fell to the ground. The other boars were so frightened that they fled in all directions. We excitedly ran over and dragged the big boar back to our motorcycle. It was after 9:00 p.m. We decided to end our hunting activities for the day and return to the hotel to rest.

In the hunting process, WildGuarder owler1 night vision binoculars bring us a lot of convenience and help, allowing us to see every move of the animals in the dark, not to miss any opportunity, and not to be disturbed by any. It is also very simple and easy to operate, just press a button, you can switch modes, adjust the brightness, take photos or videos. It is also very light in weight and will not burden us or affect our balance or shooting. It is also very durable, even in the prairie encountered the wind, rain or dust, there is no failure or damage. We are all very satisfied and like this night vision binoculars and feel that it is the best companion for our hunting trip.

Besides hunting, we also enjoyed the local cuisine of Barcaldine to satisfy our taste buds as well. Below, I’ll introduce you to some of Barcaldine’s local cuisine, as well as some of our recommended restaurants and bars.

Barcaldine is not only rich in wildlife, but also has many delicious local foods that allowed us to taste different flavors and cultures while hunting. During our three-day and two-night hunting trip, we tried several of the following local Barcaldine delicacies:

• Lamb Pie: This is a traditional Australian food consisting of a puff pastry wrapped around a filling of lamb and vegetables and baked to create a crispy exterior and soft, aromatic interior. We bought a few lamb pies at Fothergill Bakery for our lunch, which was very satisfying with a cup of coffee.

• Beef Burger: This is a simple but delicious food consisting of two slices of bread sandwiched between a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sauce, which tastes juicy and nutritious. We ordered a few beef burgers for our dinner at Ridgee Didge Cafe and felt the warmth and friendliness of the Australians.

• Australian Beer: This is a popular drink made from fermented barley, hops and water that is refreshing and perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day. We had a few Australian beers at Walkabout Creek Hotel as our pastime to chat about our hunting experiences and thoughts.

• Lobster: This is a seafood delicacy made from fresh lobster cut up, sprinkled with salt and pepper, coated with butter and lemon juice, and then grilled to taste tender and flavorful. We tasted lobster at Rubyvale Gem Gallery3 tasted the lobster and as our reward, enjoyed a lavish dinner.

These delicacies made our hunting trip perfect and memorable and gave us a deeper impression and love for Barcaldine. At the end of this post, I will summarize our hunting trip’s gains and feelings.
