We are curious and longing for this ancient and mysterious country, China. We searched for some information about hunting in China online and found that Shenyang National Forest Park is a very good choice. Shenyang National Forest Park is located in Shenbei New District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It is a national forest park that integrates sightseeing, leisure, and popular science. Shenyang Forest Park covers an area of 933.3 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of up to 96%. The vegetation is mainly natural secondary forest, with the highest peak at an altitude of 441.3 meters. There are rich and diverse wildlife resources here, such as mountain chickens, stone chickens, roe deer, foxes, and lynxes, making it a paradise for hunting enthusiasts.
Since we were hunting at night, night vision binoculars were essential equipment. It is a natural oxygen bar full of vitality and charm, allowing us to experience the gift and charm of nature.
In Shenyang National Forest Park, we visited several main attractions such as Shiren Mountain, Manshou Mountain, Shiren Lake, Baihua Valley, and Shiren Temple. The most impressive was Shiren Mountain, the core scenic area of Shenyang National Forest Park and the highest peak in Shenyang’s administrative area, with an altitude of 441.3 meters. Shiren Mountain is named after its mountain shape resembling a person, and it is said to be a loyal general who turned into a mountain to defend the country. There are various strange rocks on Shiren Mountain, such as eagle beak rock, camel rock, and tortoise back rock. There are also some ancient and mysterious cliff carvings, such as “the first mountain in the world” and “the first temple in the world.” There is also an ancient temple built in the Ming Dynasty on Shiren Mountain, Shiren Temple, which is a place for local worshippers to pray for blessings and an opportunity for us to learn about Chinese Buddhist culture.
In Shenyang National Forest Park, we also tasted some local specialties such as farmhouse dumplings, pork in sweet bean sauce, pork with pickled cabbage, and corn porridge. These delicacies are made from fresh local ingredients, with a light and delicious taste, allowing us to enjoy them to the fullest. We also experienced some local folk customs, such as wearing ethnic costumes for photos, participating in bonfire parties for dancing and singing, and learning to make folk handicrafts. These activities allowed us to feel the warmth and kindness of the local people and also increased our understanding and respect for Chinese culture.
Looking back on our hunting experience in Shenyang National Forest Park, my two friends and I were very satisfied and happy. We not only gained many hunting skills and experiences but also many beautiful memories and insights.
