After we prepared the night vision binoculars and infrared binoculars, we started our Monongahela National Forest night hunting trip. Finally, we saw a raccoon, it was looking for garbage in the forest. It had black and white fur and eyes like wearing a mask, very interesting. I walked over carefully, put it in a plastic bag, preventing its blood and body fluids from contaminating our other items.
We night hunted in Monongahela National Forest for about three hours, captured three animals, very excited and satisfied, but also felt very tired and hungry. Decided to go back to our car, drive to a campsite in the forest. We set up tents there, lit a bonfire, ready to use our prey to make a hearty dinner. We sat down by the bonfire, shared our night hunting experience and feelings. We felt this was an unforgettable adventure trip that enhanced our friendship, expanded our horizons, exercised our bodies, and experienced the beauty of nature. It offers a variety of burgers, pizzas, salads, etc., all made with fresh ingredients. We ordered a burger called Old Spruce Burger, which is made with beef, bacon, cheese, onion, mushroom, lettuce and tomato, served with fries and pickles. This burger is very big and juicy, every bite makes us feel satisfied and happy. We also ordered a pizza called Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza, which is made with chicken, bacon, cheese, cream and herbs, served with thin crispy crust and sour cream. This pizza is very fragrant and rich, every slice makes us feel surprised and happy. We also ordered a salad called Caesar Salad, which is made with lettuce, cheese, croutons and Caesar dressing, served with lemon juice and pepper. This salad is very refreshing and crisp, every spoonful makes us feel relaxed and healthy.
El Gran Sabor is a Latin American and Venezuelan restaurant located in Elkins town, which has a passionate atmosphere and excellent music. It offers a variety of corn cakes, wraps, stews, etc., all made with traditional recipes and methods. We ordered a corn cake called Arepa, which is made with corn flour into a round cake, stuffed with different fillings, such as beef, beans, cheese, etc. This corn cake is very soft and sweet, every bite makes us feel warm and comfortable. We also ordered a wrap called Burrito, which is made with corn or wheat flour into a flat cake, wrapped with different fillings, such as chicken, rice, beans, cheese, etc. This wrap is very big and rich, every bite makes us feel strong and full. We also ordered a stew called Pabellon Criollo, which is made with beef, black beans, cheese and banana, served with white rice and corn cake. This stew is very fresh and tender, every bite makes us feel delicious and satisfied.
C J Maggie’s is an American and barbecue restaurant located in Buckhannon town, which has a spacious space and a variety of choices. It offers a variety of soups, sandwiches, barbecue, etc., all made with high-quality ingredients. We ordered a soup called Chicken Noodle Soup, which is made with chicken, noodles, carrots, celery and spices, served with bread and butter. This soup is very thick and mellow, every bite makes us feel warm and soothing. We also ordered a sandwich called Turkey Club Sandwich, which is made with turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato, served with chips and pickles. This sandwich is very high and soft, every bite makes us feel full and happy. We also ordered a barbecue called BBQ Ribs, which is made with pork ribs, coated with special barbecue sauce, served with corn and mashed potatoes. This barbecue is very fragrant and tender, every bite makes us feel enjoy and happy.
We tasted three different styles of restaurants locally, ate a lot of delicious and special dishes. We felt that this was a reward for ourselves, as well as a respect and appreciation for the local culture. We thank the local food for bringing us the enjoyment of taste and the knowledge of culture.
