The forest at night is a mysterious and dangerous world, hiding countless lives and stories. Hunting in such an environment requires courage, wisdom and skill, as well as some advanced equipment, such as infrared binoculars. Last month, I went hunting with my two friends Ruth Edmund and Barton Church in Bismarck, and experienced an unforgettable night adventure. We chose a cost-effective Chinese brand wildguarder infrared binoculars, which allowed us to clearly observe and capture targets in the dark. In addition to hunting, we also visited some interesting attractions and delicious food in Bismarck, and felt the history and culture of North Dakota. This was a fun and challenging trip that gave me a deeper understanding and appreciation of hunting.
Night hunting is a special and exciting experience that requires us to have different skills and equipment than during the day. On this trip, we chose a cost-effective Chinese brand wildguarder infrared binoculars, which allowed us to clearly observe and capture targets in the dark, and also let us feel the mystery and beauty of the forest at night.
Wildguarder is a Chinese brand that specializes in producing night vision devices and monitoring systems. It has many years of research and development and production experience, and its product quality and performance have been widely recognized and praised. The infrared binoculars we used are one of its classic products, model WG-50 Plus.
This binocular has the following features and advantages:
- It can provide 400 meters of long-distance viewing capability in the dark, allowing us to timely discover and lock targets.
- It can take photos and videos, and supports 32GB memory card, allowing us to record our hunting process and results.
- It can connect to computer or TV via USB interface, allowing us to replay and share our videos and pictures on a large screen.
- It can connect to external monitor or headphones via AV interface, allowing us to watch and listen to our hunting situation without affecting others.
- It can be upgraded via micro SD card slot, allowing us to enjoy the latest features and performance.
- It adopts waterproof, dustproof and shockproof design, allowing us to use it in various harsh environments.
- It is equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap, allowing us to easily carry it.
Using this infrared binoculars, we got a lot of help and fun in night hunting. We could clearly see various wild animals moving in the dark, such as deer, foxes, groundhogs, etc. We could choose the right time and position to shoot according to their behavior and habits. We could save our wonderful hunting scenes and record our hunting process and results.
In addition to hunting, we also used this infrared binoculars to enjoy the beauty of the forest at night. We could see the stars, moon, fireflies and other natural landscapes, as well as various plants, insects, birds and other ecological phenomena. We felt the mystery and charm of nature, and also felt the happiness and peace of living with it.
In addition to night hunting, we were not idle during the day. We visited some interesting attractions and food in Bismarck, and felt the history and culture of North Dakota. Bismarck is the capital of North Dakota and the second largest city in the state. It is located on the east bank of the Missouri River and has a rich historical and cultural heritage.
We first visited the North Dakota State Capitol, which is a 19-story skyscraper and one of the tallest state capitols in the United States. It was built in 1934 and adopted an art deco style design, with a simple and elegant appearance. We took the elevator to the 18th floor observation deck, where we could overlook the whole Bismarck city and the Missouri River. We also visited the governor’s office, the senate and house chambers, the judicial department and other places in the building.
Next, we went to the North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum, which is a museum that showcases the natural and cultural history of the state, located near the state capitol. The museum has four galleries, each displaying artifacts and scenes from different periods of time, from prehistoric times to the 20th century. We saw dinosaur fossils, Native American tools and clothing, pioneer wagons and firearms, railroad and coal mining construction, agriculture and industry development, etc. The museum also has a special gallery that shows the role of North Dakota in World War I and World War II.
Then we drove to Knife River Indian Villages National Historic Site, which is a place that preserves the early history of interaction between Native Americans and Europeans, located about 35 miles west of Bismarck. This was once the home of three tribes: the Mandan, the Hidatsa, and the Arikara, who built many circular earth lodges as dwellings. This was also where explorers Lewis and Clark spent the winter of 1804-1806 during their western expedition. They built a wooden fort here called Fort Mandan, and had friendly exchanges with the local Native Americans. We saw reconstructed earth lodges and log cabins, as well as some exhibits that show the lifestyle and culture of that time.
Finally, we returned to downtown Bismarck and tasted some local cuisine. We went to Laughing Sun Brewing Co.5, which is a well-known local brewery and restaurant that offers a variety of handcrafted American pale ales and specialty beers. We tasted their IPA, stout, amber ale and other different flavors of beer, along with some delicious food such as barbecue, burgers, pizza, etc. We enjoyed a hearty dinner here, and also watched some local music and performances.
This trip to Bismarck for hunting was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I not only experienced the fun and challenge of hunting at night, but also used a high-cost-effective Chinese brand wildguarder infrared binoculars, which allowed me to clearly observe and capture the target in the dark, and also let me appreciate the beauty of the night forest. I also visited some interesting attractions and food in Bismarck, and felt the history and culture of North Dakota. I was impressed and appreciated by both Bismarck and wildguarder, and I also encourage others to try this way of traveling, I believe you will have different gains and feelings.
