I have always had a strong interest in hunting, especially at night, which feels more exciting and mysterious. So when I heard about the rich wildlife resources and beautiful natural scenery of Niushoushan in Jiangning, Nanjing, China, I decided to go there with my two good friends, Elvis Jim and Ted Wood, to experience it.
To ensure the safety and effectiveness of night hunting, we chose the WildGuarder’s OWLER1 night vision binoculars from Shenzhen, China. This is a professional night vision binoculars that can clearly observe targets in the dark, as well as record videos and photos, allowing us to capture our hunting process.
We stayed at a farmhouse near Niushoushan, where the owner was very hospitable and introduced us to the history and culture of the mountain. It turns out that Niushoushan is named after its two peaks on the east and west resembling the horns of a bull. It is also known as Tianque Mountain and is one of the four famous scenic spots in Jinling. Niushoushan not only has beautiful scenery, but also many historical sites, such as the Yue Fei Anti-Golden Fort, cliff carvings, Hongjue Temple Tower, Zheng He Cultural Park, and more. Niushoushan is also the birthplace of the Buddhist Niutou Chan, and it is home to the only Buddha’s real skull relic in the world, the Fotop Palace.
During the day, we visited the main attractions of Niushoushan, feeling its solemn and sacred atmosphere. Our favorite was the Fotop Palace, which has a huge dome building with exquisite Buddhist art works such as the reclining Buddha, Qianfo Hall, and Wanfo Corridor. We also climbed to the top of the Fotop Tower, overlooking the panoramic view of Niushoushan, which was breathtaking.
At night, we finally started our long-awaited night hunting adventure. We brought the OWLER1 night vision binoculars and other necessary equipment, and followed the owner into the mountains. We walked along the path, using the night vision binoculars from time to time to observe any movements around us. We found many traces of wild animals, such as rabbits, pheasants, ducks, and deer. We followed the owner’s instructions and chose the right positions and timing for shooting. We used the OWLER1 night vision binoculars to record our hunting results, which gave us a great sense of achievement. The performance of the OWLER1 night vision binoculars was excellent, not only allowing us to see the targets clearly in the dark, but also adjusting the focus and brightness to adapt to different environments and distances. Its lightweight and durable design also made it easy to carry and use. We were very satisfied with this product and felt that it was the best partner for night hunting.
After the hunting, we returned to the farmhouse and enjoyed a sumptuous dinner. The owner used the wild game we caught and fresh local ingredients to make some authentic Nanjing dishes, such as duck blood vermicelli soup, smoked duck, salted duck, and xiaolongbao. We chatted while eating, learning about the local customs and culture of Niushoushan. The owner also told us some legends and stories about Niushoushan, allowing us to feel the charm and profound historical heritage of the mountain.
This night hunting trip has brought me a lot of gains, not only experiencing the fun of wilderness survival and hunting, but also appreciating the beauty and culture of Niushoushan, and recording unforgettable memories with the OWLER1 night vision binoculars. I think Niushoushan is a place worth visiting, with different charms and flavors during the day and night. I am also grateful to my two good friends, Elvis Jim and Ted Wood, who are my best hunting partners, and we shared this unforgettable journey together. I hope to have the opportunity to explore and hunt in other places with them in the future, leaving more beautiful moments with the OWLER1 night vision binoculars.
